Show your support for Cross River Rail
The Palaszczuk Government was re-elected with a commitment to delivering the Cross River Rail.
Cross River Rail will deliver more local jobs, improved local public transport, increased business activity, and reduced traffic congestion.
In 2012, the Cross River Rail was identified as the number one infrastructure project in Australia, and the then federal government committed to co-fund the project, delivering improvements for all of South-East Queensland.
Now the Turnbull Liberal-National federal government is refusing to support this project.
Malcolm Turnbull says he values public transport, but when it comes to funding vital public transport infrastructure he is letting our community down.
Watch the video below for a recent speech by Anthony Albanese, Federal Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development, about the importance of Cross River Rail and the need for the Turnbull Government to join with the Queensland State Government in delivering this infrastructure.
