The Vegetation Management and Other Legislation Bill will:

• protect Queensland's high value regrowth vegetation

• support our commitment to protect the Great Barrier Reef

• restore a sustainable vegetation management framework for Queensland

• demonstrate our community's commitment to tackling climate change
