Working together to build our community

The upcoming state election is an important opportunity for you to make a choice about the future for both our local community and our great state, Queensland.

I have lived in Greenslopes for more than 20 years, with two daughters attending local schools, and as a nurse for over 30 years, I passionately believe in the importance of building our community.

I stood for election as I wanted to work to build a better community. I am proud that as part of the Palaszczuk Labor Government I have been able to deliver on this commitment.

Today my faith in what our community can achieve by working together is even stronger that it was when I was elected. Working with people across the Greenslopes electorate across the last two and half years we have been able to achieve a lot.

Locally, I am proud to have worked with local community groups to deliver the Greenslopes Domestic Violence Plan making our community safer, supported P&F and P&C associations through building community networks and access to support and resources, and bringing our community together through leading the Greenslopes Australia Day Family Fun Day.

Despite all that we have achieved together, there remains more to do.
